solving other people's problems is easier
Hey reader,
Goal setting is a fascinating process. Since I’ve started working with clients, I’ve been privileged to help people use their voice to illuminate a path from feeling stuck to creating momentum.
This week, I helped a young woman suffering from anxiety find and use her speaking voice for the first time, a rebellious teenager embrace their inner child (after being forced to become an adult too fast due to traumatic childhood) and more.
Everything was focused on goal-setting.
It’s one thing to try NOT to do something.
It’s another to try to do something else.
But figuring out what to do requires some questions that listening might help with.
If you’re feeling stuck going into the weekend, consider these simple questions:
what’s the real problem?
what am I willing to try that I haven’t before?
what’s my dream?
If you don’t have a dream, then ask yourself what one thing you want in life is and start there.
That’s what I’m doing.
Have fun out there,
O
P.S.
I’m leading one last speaking class in Venice next Wednesday, the 20th. If you’re interested in joining, reply ‘class’ and I’ll give you a discount.
