I follow a lot of newsletters about relationships and human connection.

For such a ubiquitously experienced well-trodden topic, I enjoy skimming many of repeated sentiments with a “yeah, yeah, connection, connection,” and flowering on with my day, to grow and wilt as my habits have trained me for.

If this week will be particularly challenging for you, consider this peculiar task:

Call a friend and ask if they need advice.
Then ask them what they want advice on.

It’s motivating to be a motivational person.
If you need strength to accomplish your own tasks, deviate from your path by 1% to help someone else.

It will circle back.
