A Client Story
A client is starting work at a new place.
Although she has everything it takes, she suffers severe anxiety.
At first, she said.
“When I go to [my new office], I’m not going to be confident.
I’m not going to share my story with anyone because they’ll think I’m bragging and judge me.
I won’t make any friends.
I’ll only open myself up after a few months.”
We’ve been working together a few months now.
She starts at the new place next week.
Today, she said,
“When I go to [my new office], I’m going to be confident!
I’m going to share my story and people won’t think I’m bragging.
I’ll make friends.
I’ll open myself up to all the greater possibilities.”
Not only could she say it, she was shouting it from the second story of her house.
How we talk to ourselves is how we color our lives.
You just need to find your exclamation point sentences.
