continuous optimism
Monday is what you make it
I remember reading somewhere that every person thinks about 40,000 thoughts a day. To me, this means every person makes 40,000 decisions a day because we have some control over how and what we think.
I’ve spent several days over the last few weeks sitting in the empty dirt lot my childhood home used to sit before it burned down.
I seem to be the only one who finds the quiet (and lack of wifi) peaceful. Most mention that it sounds difficult or stressful or would be challenging for them to do the same if they were in my situation.

If you could use some optimism today, here are three quotes for you:
“Optimism doesn’t mean that you are blind to the reality of the situation. It means that you remain motivated to seek a solution to whatever problems arise.” -The Dalai Lama
“Hope will never be silent.” -Harvey Milk
"How wonderful it is that nobody need wait a single moment before starting to improve the world." -Anne Frank
Have the greatest day you can, and tomorrow, you’ll have another.
